How It's Made

Equipped with advanced machinery and precision testing instruments, our factory enforces rigorous quality protocols to deliver consistent, reliable performance with every batch.

Jiangsu Xinfeng Star Film Materials Co., Ltd.
Production Process
  • 1. Raw Material
    ● We select high-purity PVC resins and eco-friendly additives (plasticizers, stabilizers, pigments), all subjected to strict incoming inspection.
  • 2. Extrusion & Calendering
    ● Melted PVC is formed into uniform, smooth base films with precise thickness and gloss control via multi-roll calendering systems.
  • 3. Printing
    ● Using flexo or gravure technology, we apply high-resolution patterns—woodgrain, stone, solid colors, or custom graphics—with vibrant color fidelity and rich textures.
  • 4. Surface Coating
    ● Protective layers such as matte or gloss coatings enhance durability, stain resistance, and visual appeal.
  • 5. Multi-Layer Lamination
    ● For enhanced functionality, select products are laminated with PET or other substrates to meet custom strength or aesthetic requirements.
  • 6. Post-Processing
    ● Includes cooling, trimming, slitting, and packaging to ensure stable delivery conditions.
  • 7. Quality Inspection
    ● Final films are tested for appearance, thickness, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and more.
  • 8. Storage & Delivery
    ● Finished goods are safely stored and shipped from our facility.
Quality Control

Our quality management team conducts comprehensive testing on each batch of decorative films—including adhesion strength, weather resistance, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistance—to ensure the products meet all standards for quality, performance, and durability.

  • Adhesion Strength Test
This test evaluates the adhesion stability of decorative films on substrates (e.g., boards and wall surfaces), helping to prevent issues such as edge warping and peeling over time. It is especially suited for long-term applications in furniture and architectural decoration.
  • Weather Resistance Test
By simulating environmental factors such as temperature and humidity fluctuations and ultraviolet exposure, this test verifies the product’s resistance to aging and discoloration. It ensures long-term durability in outdoor or exposed settings, including outdoor advertising and building façades.
  • Chemical Resistance Test
This test assesses the film’s ability to withstand cleaning agents, solvents, and other common substances, preventing surface corrosion and discoloration. It is ideal for environments requiring frequent cleaning, such as homes and commercial spaces.
  • Abrasion Resistance Test
By replicating daily friction (e.g., furniture contact and human touch), this test ensures the film surface remains resistant to scratches and wear, thereby extending product lifespan. It is particularly suitable for high-traffic areas such as public spaces and children’s rooms.
